5 Sept - the Corpus Christi feast held in State Bank Colony was a memorable one. I thank
Rev. Fr. Jerosin A. Kattar and the people.

6 Sept - I had the privilege of celebrating Mass and giving communion to 37 children in
Periasamypuram. I appreciate Very Rev. Fr. Martin Manuel and all the people there.

7 & 8 Sept - Anaikarai celebrated its feast very meaningfully. I could see people listening
to the Word of God. Thank you Rev. Fr. Selvarathinam.

8 Sept - Karungkadal, the substation of Nochikulam was erected as the 118 parish of our
diocese. A good number of people participated in the event with joy and enthusiasm. Rev.
Fr. Packia Joseph Raj is the new priest. Rev. Fr. John Paul arranged everything very well.

8 Sept - Kavalkinaru celebrated the feast of Arockia Matha. It was very consoling to see
the people earnestly praying to God. A big thanks to Rev. Fr. Arockiaraj and all those who
cooperated with him.

11 & 12 Sept - Extremely happy to talk to the simple people of the parish of
Jesurajapuram. Rev. Fr. Santheestan has organised everything well. Thanks to him and to all
the people.

13 & 14 Sept - The feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was solemnly held in
Manapad. Manapad event is always unique as the people look at the Cross and pray. Thanks
to Rev. Fr. Lerin De Rose and all the people.

14 Sept - On this feast day of the Holy Cross, our Little Flower Minor Seminary was
inaugurated with a solemn Mass. I thank the Rector Rev. Fr. Maria John Costa and all the
Fathers there.

18 Sept - The new school building of St. Thomas the Apostle Matriculation School took
place colourfully. I thank Rev. Fr. Rayappan, other Fathers, staff and students who
organised everything wonderfully well.

18 Sept - The substation of Eral parish, Sivakalai experienced a spectacular event of the
blessing of Our Lady of Fatima Grotto and the Prayer Hall. People came in large number to
taste the love of the Lord. The Holy Mass kept the people in a prayerful mood.

Bro. Gracius and team have not forgotten to place a memorial figure of Rev. Fr.
Savarimuthu, the former parish priest who wished this place to be one decicated to God.

My thanks to Very Rev. Fr. Rolington Fernando, Rev. Fr. Arockiadoss V., and to Bro.
Gracius and team. Indeed, it is a marvellous work.

20 & 21 Sept - I am very happy to inform you that the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of
Jesus, Vellore, are installed in Sippikulam ; and the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
Tuticorin, are placed in St. Thomas parish, Vembar.
