VII. CONDOLENCES:

1. REV. FR. STEPHEN FERNANDO:
We are very sad to inform you of the demise of REV. FR. STEPHEN FERNANDO, 74
years. He was born on 10.01.1947 and was ordained a priest on 20.10.1975. He passed away
on 27.09.2021, Monday, due to sickness in Italy. His mortal remains were brought from Italy
to Manapad on 12.10.2021. His funeral Mass was held on 12.10.2021, Tuesday, at 3.30 p.m.
in Holy Ghost Church, Manapad.
Inter Nos offers its condolences in a special way to the members of the bereaved family. Let
us offer three Masses for the repose of the departed soul. May the soul of the zealous priest
rest in peace!

2. To Rev. Fr. Antony Michael Lawrence:
Mr. Marianus (aged 54), elder brother of Fr. Antony Michael Lawrence, PP of Vallioor, met
with an accident and expired on 14.10.2021. His funeral was held on 15.10.2021 at 4 p.m. in
Tharuvaikulam.
Our heartfelt condolences to Rev. Fr. Antony Michael Lawrence and to all the members of the
bereaved family! Let us offer our prayers for the repose of the departed soul! May the
departed soul rest in Peace!

3. To Rev. Fr. Joseph Diaz:
Mrs. Rajeswari, (aged 68 years) beloved mother of Rev. Fr. Joseph Diaz, expired on
14.10.2021, Thursday. Her funeral was held on the same day at 3.00 pm in Kootapuli.
Our heartfelt condolences to Rev. Fr. Joseph Diaz and to all the members of the bereaved
family! Let us offer our prayers for the repose of the departed soul! May the departed soul rest
in Peace!

4. REV. FR. XAVIER IGNATIUS:
We are very sad to inform you of the demise of REV. FR. XAVIER IGNATIUS, aged 99
years. He was born on 03.11.1922 and was ordained a priest on 24.08.1951. He passed away

on 19.10.2021, Tuesday evening (2 weeks short of his 100 birthday) in Sacred Heart
Hospital, Tuticorin, due to old age. His mortal remains were kept for homage from 08.00 am
to 3.00 pm on 20.10.2021, Wednesday at Bishop' House Chapel.
His funeral Mass was held on 20.10.2021 at 3.00 p.m. at Sacred Hearts‟ Cathedral followed
by burial in the Common Cemetery, Tuticorin.
