Saints treated pain as their friend and tackled it positively and genuinely. They are able to transform
the pain of desert into a joyful oasis. Indeed pain becomes a catalyst for achieving their goals.
It is true that suffering, at times is, brutal and cruel. But it serves as an important spiritual guide.
Francis Thomson found his transformation and profound renewal after his fall into the pit of suffering
and shame. He understood, God was pursuing him. Kavi Ko Mr. Abdul Rahman describes his fall as
a positive one in the life of Thomson. He would say, humanity would not have been gifted with such
a classic work „The hound of Heaven‟ had he not fallen into the rut.
A clear understanding of suffering would free us from so many unwanted elements.
Indeed, suffering accepted with the positive mind, would help us soar high like the saints of the
church.
Would we like to be ones among them?

03.10.2021:
It was a joy to celebrate the feast Mass at Punnaikayal. The people participated well and
everything was nicely arranged. Thanks to Fr. Franklin Fernando and parishnioners.
Thisayanvilai parish was very colourful this evening. The people came in large number for the
blessing of the bell tower and for Mass. Fr. Joseph Christian had done a wonderful work. Thanks
to all the parishioners.
06.10.2021:
The people of Adaikalapuram rejoiced as they had prepared nearly 200 young people for
confirmation. The liturgy was joyfully conducted. Fr. Peter Paul and the parishioners had done a
good job.
07.10.2021:
Fr. Edward in his own way gathered the people for the celebrations of the feast Mass at
Mannarpuram. The people participated actively well. The people were happy to hear the news that
Mannarpuram will have a bright future. Thanks to Fr. Edward and all the people.

The pastoral visit to the Eral parish remains unforgettable in my memory. Fr. Jesu Durai Johnson had
arranged wonderfully well to meet all the people of the substations too. May God bless all of them.
13.10.2021:
Fatimanagar was in festive mood and the altar of the church was beautifully decorated, and the
children received their first Holy Communion. I thank Fr. Jesudoss Fernando and the team.

At Amalivanam a fruitful discussion on Vallioor society took place.
17.10.2021:
On this day a discussion on Our Lady of Snows Mat. Hr. Sec. School, T. Kallikulam occurred.
