February 2022

Dear Rev. Fathers,

The whole world is surrounded by covid-19 and its variants, while we are still not out of the shock
and pain of losing our brother priests of our diocese and other people for the past two years due to
covid-19. The third wave of covid-19 pandemic has brought with it new challenges for the society
across the world. The highly transmissible Omicron variant of covid-19 is driving an unprecedented
surge of infection globally. The Delta variant of covid-19 has been called a variant of concern by
WHO because of its increased transmissibility and increased ability to cause a severe form of the
disease. Where the Delta variant is identified, it quickly and efficiently spreads between the people.
The Delta variant is highly contagious, about twice as contagious as previous variants. The best way
we can limit the transmission of covid-19 is to follow the existing advice on preventing the spread of
the virus, including physical distancing, wearing masks, regular handwashing, avoiding crowded
spaces and keeping indoor areas ventilated. This will greatly work against the Delta and Omicron
variant.

Gentle Reminder:

 Thank you for all good services that you render to the people of God in the parish. I would
like to remind you, dear fathers, who have completed the term of office to update the
inventories and books of account.
 Dates of auditing will be intimated to you later.

 On 13 of February a collection will be made for Holy Childhood and you are requested to
remit the same to the Financial Administrator‟s Office.
 Kindly remit the Mission Sunday collection to the Financial Administrator‟s Office at the
earliest.
 You are reminded of sending the Special Collections to the Financial Administrator‟s Office

before 28 of February 2022.

 You are requested to give the Shrine/Parish contributions on 5 of every month without fail.
