Inter Nos extends prayerful wishes and cordial greetings to our
beloved Bishop, Most Rev. Dr. A. Stephen on the 3rd Anniversary of

his Episcopal Consecration (24.02.2022)

I. HOLY FATHER’S PRAYER INTENTION FOR THE MONTH:

For Religious Sisters and Consecrated Women:
We pray for religious sisters and consecrated women; thanking them for their mission and their
courage; may they continue to find new responses to the challenges of our times.

II. OUR BISHOP SPEAKS:

Peace

Plight:
Pope Francis makes an earnest appeal for peace in the world. He loves peace
among the people, among the nations and in the world. His heart explodes itself
with pain anguish to witness tension and turbulence between the nations. His
anguished overwhelms him as he watches people driven away from the houses,
killed butchered like animals. There is not a single day which passes by without
terrible fight and war between the groups and nations. Nearly 100 die every day
because of the terrorist attack or of the fight between the rival groups. Human
beings are the worst enemies of each other.

The pope‟s heart is heavily saddened and wounded by the way the poor people especially the women
and children are killed and kidnapped and pushed into untold suffering.

Peace:
Peace is the word with which we greet one another. Salam, Salom (Hebrew) encompasses myriad if
meanings. It is first, the gift of God to the humanity, God Himself is peace. Peace connotes perfection
