A Brief History :
Xavierpuram before being bifurcated from Eruvadi, the initial work was done by Rev.Fr.John Selvam followed by Rev.Fr. Antony Baskar HGN who was taking care of the spiritual needs of Xavierpuram, Kalakad, Moongilady, Mavadi and Subramaniyapuram villages from 10.07.2015 onwards. Rev.Fr. Amalan Thamiyan, the parish priest of Eruvadi proceeded and completed the requirements of the diocese for establishing a new parish. The People of Xavierpuram contributed to the diocese, the total amount required for priest maintenance.

Most Rev. Bishop Ivon Ambroise finally declared “Xavierpuram” as new parish in the Solemn Mass celebrated on 02.12.2019.
