A Brief History :
Jesurajapuram (Sethuramalingapuram) which was part of the Seithunganallur Mission was bifurcated from Seithunganallur on 23rd May 2010 and was made into a separate parish. The Church at Jesurajapuram was built in 1959 and was blessed by Msgr. Mariadas on 2nd February 1963 and was dedicated to Christ the King. Jesurajapuram has 7 substations of which 5 are from the mother parish Seithunganallur. Two other villages Chettimalanpatty and Aarampannai are separated from Srivaikundam Mission and are attatched to Jesurajapuram. Rev. Fr. Benzigar Lution was the First parish priest of Jesurajapuram. A new presbytery was bilt by Fr. Benzigar Lution.
